Registration Failed
Registration Failed
If the app shows "Registration failed" or you're unable to make/receive calls, work through these in order.
1. Check your network connection
The app needs a working internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to register. Try loading a website to confirm you're actually online.
2. Check the QR code / enrolment link hasn't already been used
Each QR code or enrolment link is tied to one device. If you're setting up a second device, ask your administrator for a fresh one rather than reusing the same code.
3. Password may have been reset
If the app was working before and suddenly stops registering, your extension's password may have been changed or reset on the PBX side. This isn't something you can fix yourself — contact your administrator, who can check the extension's status and re-issue your setup if needed.
4. Restart the app
A simple restart resolves more registration issues than you'd expect, particularly after a network change (e.g. switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or reconnecting after being offline).
5. Still not working?
Contact your administrator with:
- Your extension number
- Roughly when the problem started
- What device/platform you're using (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac)
This lets them check the server-side logs for your extension specifically, which is often needed to diagnose registration issues that aren't fixable from the app alone.
