BLF: Monitoring Colleagues

BLF (Busy Lamp Field) shows you the live status of your colleagues' extensions, so you can see who's available before you call or transfer to them.

Reading the status

Each extension shows a coloured dot:

• Green — available
• Red — on a call / busy
• Grey — offline or not registered

Finding an extension

• Use the search box to find someone by name or extension number.
• If your organisation has grouped extensions (e.g. by department), use the category tabs to filter the list.

Calling or transferring directly

Tap/click an extension in the BLF list to call it directly, or use it to pick a destination while transferring a call.
